The Netherlands: Custom House Fund Services (Netherlands) BV (“CHN”) supports the fund administration services for local Dutch clients. It is also licensed by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission to act as an external fund administrator.
ARIE SCHOORDIJK, Managing Director
Arie has over 13 years experience as an administrator of a diverse range of investment funds with special attention to NAV production and financial reporting, including the coordination of independent fund audits. He started his career in 2002 with TMF Fund Services in Rotterdam and was subsequently transferred in 2006 to the TMF office in Sofia, before moving back to Rotterdam in 2008.
Upon his return to the Rotterdam office in 2008, Arie was appointed Team Leader, Accounting. He is experienced in a wide range of investment strategies, including equity long/short, global macro, TCA, credit event driven, multi-strategy, fund of hedge funds and multi-currency. Arie also looked after the daily NAV production of a number of investment funds listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
During his assignments in Sofia (period 2006 – 2008), Arie was responsible for the organisation and implementation of the daily fund administration infrastructure in accordance with group guidelines and in full compliance with the company’s (formerly) SAS 70 II control framework. He was also engaged in training and supervision of fund accountants for the NAV production.
Arie graduated in Business Administration at the HES “Hogeschool voor Economische Studies” in Rotterdam in 2002 and studied to be a Certified Hedge Fund Professional.
